I’m preparing for a new gallery that opens in July at the Athens Public Library. I think I’ll post some bits and pieces of the project, a little each day; That might help keep me to a strict deadline! I’ve got 28 days to produce some new material. Pretty exciting! I want to display a really fun, new gallery, with a theme all its own, like the last gallery, A Secret Map. (A friend sent me some unexpectedly wonderful photos of the UnionArts show, and I’m looking forward to sharing some of them on the site.)
I really should get around to updating my Gallery Page, it’s a bit out of date now.
The gallery at Fluff Bakery is closing soon. J and J are so wonderful! You guys have displayed my illustrations on the bakery walls for nearly 6 months! Thank you so much!
P.S.: my scanner’s lid fell off, that’s why a lot of the images aren’t scanning clearly. One day maybe I will buy a new scanner.
I like the color. Have you considered using color more often? It’s really different to look at.
I’m definitely enjoying the color lately. I’d like to use it more, like I used to. Most of what I’ve drawn is in black ink, no color. At this point, color is sort of an adventure for me!
I like the idea of you creating interesting/fun stamps that are real US postage (like via zazzle.com or whatever other source). I’d rather use custom Steve Richter Art stamps than ordinary stamps.
Thanks!! They’re pretty fun to make. (I’m making the post cards, too, for the stamps.)
