This is part two of a five-part (mostly true) story from 1984. If you want to see the story from the start, go to yesterday’s post for part one. (I’ll post the remaining three parts in the following posts.)

      As I said, the story is true, and the characters are all actual participants (I’m the dog at the steering wheel), but for various reasons, I chose to alter a few bits for the cartoon. For example, Crazy Eddie, the lizard-like character, is actually a combined representation of two of the members of our team. (You know who you are.) I think I wanted to simplify the cartoon and limit the number of characters on our team to three. Therefore, a few characters (mainly Crazy Eddie) are combinations of actual people who were there.
